Ephesians 4:30–32

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

If there's a battle on the outside, there's a battle on the inside. James 4:1

The Road to Harm/Unforgiveness

Stage 6: Malice

The Road to Health/Forgiveness

Forgive the way Jesus forgives:

  • Completely
  • Discretely
  • Freely

To the degree you think somebody owes you, to that same degree they own you.

Romans 12:17–19

“Never pay back evil for evil to anyone.  Respect what is right in the sight of all men.  If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.  Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” says the Lord”

To have a great life, you must accept the forgiveness Christ offers to you and you must forgive and let go of the wrongs done to you.
