We learn to follow Jesus one step at a time
We love one another by serving one another
Personal ministry means that we are servants - we use our time, talents, and treasures for the Kingdom

“Love is the mark that Jesus gives to label a Christian not just in one era or in one locality but at all times and all places until Jesus returns...”

“...it is as if Jesus turns to the world and says, ‘I’ve something to say to you. On the basis of My authority, I give you a right: you may judge whether or not an individual is a Christian on the basis of the love he shows to all Christians.’”  Francis Schaeffer

1 John 4:7-11

“Beloved, let us love on another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.  Anyone who does not love does NOT know God, because GOD IS LOVE.  In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.”

“In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought to love one another.”

As Christians, we love another by serving one another

Serving is more than just a single act...it's a quality of life

1 Peter 4:7

“The end of all things is at hand: therefore, be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.  Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers over a multitude of sins.”

A strong man is a serving man

True humility is grounded in the Truth
