The theme of Hebrews is clear: Jesus is greater than anything or anyone else. In chapter 3, the author compares Jesus to Moses and states simply, “Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses.” Moses was faithful in his speaking to the people for God, and to God for the people. But he did that as a servant. What Moses used to do, Jesus does in perfection as the Son of the living God.
