OUR VISION IS TO HELP PEOPLE DRAW LIFE FROM GOD AND POINT OTHERS TO HIM
WE WILL DO THAT BY HAVING A GOSPEL IDENTITY – KNOWING WE ARE UNDENIABLY FLAWED AND UNBELIEVABLY LOVED // A REACHING PRIORITY – BEING AS CONCERNED ABOUT OUTSIDERS AS WE ARE INSIDERS // LIVING IN AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY – A PLACE WHERE WE CAN BELONG AND BECOME // A SPIRITUAL INTIMACY – BELIEVING GOD WANTS A RELATIONSHIP WITH ME MORE THAN WANTING ME TO FOLLOW A SET OF RULES // OWNING A PERSONAL MINISTRY – BECOMING A SERVANT OF OTHERS INSTEAD OF A CONSUMER OF RELIGIOUS SERVICES // ONE PERSON AT A TIME // ONE FAMILY AT A TIME // ONE GROUP AT A TIME // ONE CAMPUS AT A TIME // HELPING BROKEN PEOPLE BECOME WHOLE
Since 2007, over $520,000 has been given to the Wide Open World Missions Fund and nearly 500 short-term missionaries have been sent from Lifepoint’s church body. We currently have 5 serving overseas in a long term capacity and we are seeing an increased number of college students and young adults leverage this time in their life with mid-term trips.
Global: At Lifepoint, we have the honor of partnering with global theological training institutions, international church planting networks, holistic community development organizations and front line workers around the world’s most unengaged peoples. This work takes place in 9 countries, across 5 continents. We seek to partner with, empower and equip brothers and sisters around the world to see efforts of church multiplication, care for the vulnerable and increased sending become realities in our lifetime - all in the name of Jesus.
North America: While COVID-19 has certainly impacted our ability to travel to our global partners, it has opened the door to increase ministry here in our country and our communities. We currently support three North American church plants and have enjoyed watching them grow and move towards self-sustainability.
Local: At Lifepoint, the majority of our local missions are done through our Lifegroups. We believe that we can do more and do it better that way. In 2021, we have groups and individuals continue to step up in major ways. To see a listing of some of the organizations that our Lifegroups partner with, please visit Serve The City.
