Lee Renfro

Lee was born in southeastern Kentucky in the small town of Burnside near Lake Cumberland. He went on to play college football at Ohio University where he was named a Team Captain his senior year and was named 1st Team All-MAC at OLB. Lee came to know Christ his Junior year at OU where the Lord began to radically transform his life. Lee graduated in 2009 and began serving in full-time vocational ministry with Cru/Athletes in Action. While reaching and discipling college athletes on the college campus Lee began to have a burden for the local church and a passion for preaching the Gospel.In 2015, Lee transitioned out of campus-based ministry and into pastoral ministry within the local church. Lee has previously served in churches in Ann Arbor, MI, Knoxville, TN, and Vandalia, OH. Lee joined the Lifepoint team in 2023 to serve as the Teaching Pastor at the Plain City campus. He married his incredible wife, Michelle, in June of 2010. They have four energetic children (Gabriel, Eliana, Joshua, and Jonathan). Their oldest child, Gabriel, has special needs (autism, cerebral palsy) which brings many challenges and opportunities to share and show the love of Jesus to others.
