When are the 2018 trips?

The next trip to Chile is November 8-14, 2018. This team is currently forming.

What does the trip cost?

The approximate cost of the trip is $2000.  If you are Lifepoint Member, the Wide Open World Missions Fund will pay up to half of that cost.  Trip cost includes round trip airfare to Chile, in country flights, housing, transportation and all food (with the exception of travel days).  Trip cost does not include passport fees, vaccinations or souvenirs.

What will we be doing in Chile?

During our time in Chile, we will be working along side our in country ministry partner, Iglesia La Fuente de Vida (Source of Life Church)  led by Pastor Nilo Salazar.  La Fuente de Vida is a young church with a vision to multiply their church into some of the most unreached / unengaged areas of their region. Teams will take part in discipling new believers, training leaders and encouraging the local church in their evangelical efforts.  Lifepoint will have two teams travel to Chile in 2018.

A typical day MAY include:

Visitation with community members

Leadership training

Youth outreach / retreats

Sports outreach (soccer)

Women’s / Men’s ministry

Where will we stay?

Teams will either stay in local cabins or in the homes of church members.

How do we get around the city?

We will be transported around the city in taxi’s, hired vans, or with our ministry partners in their vehicles.

What else do we do?

We will have a small amount of time for tourist like activities in order to experience different parts of the Chilean culture.
