Josh grew up in Newark, Ohio and was raised in a Christian home. He accepted Christ at a young age but it wasn’t until middle school that he truly began to surrender his life to Christ. Also around that same time, he started to learn to play guitar and sing. He quickly fell in love with worship music and began pursing involvement in worship ministries. During his high school years he found his passion for leading worship. It was during his junior year of high school that he began dating his wife, Stephane Warner.
In 2009, Josh graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in General Music with an emphasis on voice. Shortly after graduating from MVNU, he and Stephanie got married.
After graduating college, he served at a few different churches as their worship leader. It was in January of 2014 that Josh began serving as Lifepoint Mount Vernon’s Music Pastor.
