Angie Thompson

Mount Vernon
Childrens Director

Angie is a local girl who has grown up in Mount Vernon and has been learning to follow Jesus since she was 12 years old. She and her amazing husband, Andrew, have three wonderful children, Emma, Will, and Kate, and they have been attending Lifepoint since 2007. Angie has always loved working with children, as she graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and had the privilege to teach second grade for five years in a local school district. It has been a wonderful transition for her to be able to teach children in a different capacity and have the chance to share the Gospel message with them every week, and she also loves leading and serving alongside all of the fantastic Lifepoint Kids leaders who desire to help raise up the next generation of leaders and disciples. She considers herself completely blessed to have two amazing jobs with raising her own children and also partnering with families at Lifepoint as they walk this spiritual journey with their children!
