Positioned to Pursue

Believers and non-believers alike can both become exhausted from seeking the approval of God. Today’s message is intended to alleviate the wandering, to slow the pendulum swing and to set a course of setting our minds on and seeking the things that are above. The gospel message not only redeems us, but when studied and applied grows us into the image of Jesus Christ. Find rest for your soul from the words of Paul to the Colossians. Here he reminds us of the gospel message and informs believers they have been positioned to pursue.

Jesus transformed the Disciples and will transform us as well.

O Wholly Night

Simeon teaches us what made the Holy Night of Christmas so unique.

O Come Let Us Adore Him

Do you adore God?  In this message, we look at Luke 2 and discover that there are so many reasons to adore God…and none of them have anything to do with our circumstances. We can adore God anytime & anywhere.

Mary Christmas

Mary teaches us how to deal with doubt, fear, and worry as an example of faith instead of an object of faith.

Mary, Mother Of Jesus

In this message, we learn that God sent Gabriel to tell Mary that He would send the Holy Spirit to empower her to give birth to the Savior of the world.  We are reminded that God is still sending His Holy Spirit to empower us to have life in His Son, Jesus the Christ

The original Christmas perspective can and should change our current perspective. We learn this week from John the Baptist how Christmas makes us humble and bold.

John Prepares the Way

John was sent to prepare the way for Jesus.  In this message, we study Luke 3 and discover John’s perspective.  He told his hearers (and us) to bear fruit in keeping with repentance and to share our stuff. As we do this, we must remember that it isn’t our worth that saves us…it’s Jesus’ worth.
