Kindway helps the lives of those who have been impacted by incarceration.
Kindway is always in need of volunteers to provide programs inside prisons, to serve as mentors and to assist taking participants to appointments and meetings when they return to the community. There are many other ways to serve both inside prison and in the community.
LifeGroup Ideas: Kindway is looking for new and gently used large backpacks for the EMBARK participants. These indispensable items have become one of the staples that Kindway would like to provide to each participant upon release. Each backpack provides basic necessities such as toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, etc.

Gift Delivery for Children of Incarcerated Parents
Through Angel Tree, your Lifegroup can embrace the children of prisoners in our community by providing them with a Christmas gift, given in love, on behalf of their incarcerated parent. Your Lifegroup will purchase, wrap, and deliver a gift for each child on behalf of his or her incarcerated parent. Through this program, the prisoner feels the dignity of doing something personal for his or her child (all children are signed up by their incarcerated parent) and the children experience the joy of knowing that their parents haven’t forgotten them. But, it doesn’t have to stop there. The delivery of the gift can lead to an ongoing relationship with a hurting child and an opportunity to share the love and hope of a life in Christ.
To receive the name(s) of children that have been signed up by their parents, contact Angel Tree directly at: 1–800-55-ANGEL (26435)
